Fishing Report - 10-25-25 Lake Michigan

I'm going to start throwing some reports up here. They'll be brief and to the point. So here it goes.

We fished on Cameron's boat out of Muskegon in search of whatever would bite. Water was in the low 50’s and the spread was set for everything. All of our action came in 50-90 feet.

Gold thin fins on flat lines were hot early. Taking 3 steelhead. Red squiggles would pick up another later in the day. A gold magic man super slim on a 3c and a rastagoose Yeck 44 on a short copper also took steelhead bites.

Small juvenile kings and cohos were caught on riggers 40-60 feet down with various SS spoons. 7c also took a bite or 2 and a 200 copper caught 4 with a SS in show car.

Surprisingly a 100 copper and 5 color never took a bite all day.

The fall Lake Michigan fishery is pretty fun when weather allows. I hope to be back out soon.
