Well it had been a week since my last deer hunting adventure. Muzzleloader season was over but that doe tag was burning a hole in my pocket.

After hunting day two of the firearm season I took a break from deer. I butchered the one I had later that week and kept duck hunting until the end of the season.

Deer season 2020 would sure shape up a lot differently than any of my previous ones. Tree stands were ready in early August and all looked like it would be good to go.
